The 24h Trail Challenge

International & German Championship in 24h Trail RunningFinest Trailrunning & Hiking - For experienced and novice athletes

24 hours of pure nature, real challenge, good vibes

Within the 24-hour time window runners and hikers of all countries and ability levels, including beginners, are welcome and can be on the move as much and take as many breaks as they want. Less experienced participants will talk to top athletes and see live how they perform at their best in the battle for the top places.

With us everyone gets his money's worth, no matter whether you start alone or in a relay team of 4 people, run barefoot or in shoes, have no or many breaks, are a beginner or an old hand, fight against yourself or others, aim for the winner's trophy or simply enjoy the relaxed movement, the ambience and togetherness with known (or new) running friends and our lectures in between.

The 24h Trail Challenge starts at 12:00am on Saturday. Start and finish is our base camp at the "TRAILDORADO castle". Your laps will be recorded and at the end there will be an award ceremony.

The course is well marked and even at night the orientation is easy but at night you definitely need a headlamp. The amount of participants is very limited. This helps to really enjoy the beauty of the place. Since the beginning in 2013 we run the first round ALL TOGETHER. We love and keep doing this.

Course Details

The 24h Trail Challenge takes place on a circuit in the beautiful nature of the "Arnsberg Forest". A really wonderful compromise between nature experience, variety & pleasant silence on the one hand and the proximity to the base camp with the athletes catering, lectures, workshops and music on the other.

The course is about 4,1 km long with about 130 meters of altitude and offers beautiful single trails that well requires some concentration, gentle climbs, old paths, open fields, nice distant views.
